About me
Having served as a parent governor from 2015-2018, I was keen to stay on the governing body once my children had both moved into grammar school. As a member of the Pendock community with an enthusiasm for education, sport and EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion), I help to provide governance around the whole curriculum, with the aim of ensuring the children who attend Pendock receive a rounded and broad-based education, setting them up as confident individuals ready for their next educational setting. I took the role of chair over from Paul Massey this academic year and I am finding my feet with help and support from Paul and the rest of the governing body and staff!

It’s been my privilege to be a Foundation Governor for 5 years now. I am responsibile for taking an overview of Religious Education and Collective Worship. In addition, I head up the Open the Book team who come into school to act out bible stories with and for the children.
